We are phyioslogical/emotional beings and for every emotion there is a physical response, and for every physical happening there is an emotional response - it is not possible to separate the two. If we feel afraid the chemistry in our body changes, likewise if we feel love the chemistry within us changes too. If I hurt myself physically, I will be emotionally affected and likewise if I am hurt emotionally, my body will be hurt too. If I feel stressed, my body will be stressed.

Massage has an important role to play in health because it is a close interaction between two people, it is a communication of touch which satisfies the need for caring and nurturing. All species of animal require the bond of physical contact and likewise humans require it too, strange that so many people are afraid to touch!


This site is concerned with holistic health and how in general, it is our lifestyle that makes us sick. We are ultimately masters of our mind and body, and equally of our own destiny We all know that good diet, regular exercise and positive mental attitude help to keep us strong and healthy and yet how often do we fail to do the best for ourselves?
