Participatory art project Buddhafield

Photo of Merav and parcipatory art project - Buddhafield 2006.

Merav Wheelhouse originates from Isreal but now lives with her husband Janta and her two sons Caio and Soma in Shropshire. They have established a flourishing natural forest there on the Long Mind, which was previously farm land, having planted by hand over 6000 broadleaf, coniferous and fruit trees. The project is called Karuna, which is Sanskrit for compassion. The family now live and subsist off the land at Kuruna and they also run a variety of nature awareness workshops and Dance for Peace gatherings.

Merav has for sale much of her artwork and is happy to accept commissions.

For more information about Merav's artwork and the Karuna project, you can e-mail Merav and Janta below.
